Celtic are monitoring Falkirk striker Barney Stewart as a potential option to strengthen their attack this summer. It is understood that the 22-year-old is one of the players being considered by the club for the upcoming transfer window, where signing a new frontman is a high priority. Celtic, who admire the Scotland U21 international and see him as a player with significant potential, face competition to sign him from other Scottish clubs as well as a number of teams in England. Stewart has gained interest after a promising first season in the top-flight, in which he has been Falkirk's leading goalscorer with eight goals in 16 Premiership games.
