Ayoze Pérez has been signed by Villarreal from Betis for a fee of 4 million euros.

Ayoze Perez, after returning from his loan at Brighton, has decided to permanently move from Real Betis to Villareal. He has signed a four-year contract until 2028. The official statement from Villareal CF mentioned that Perez will join his new teammates for training and will be presented to the media on Friday.

Villarreal has officially communicated their willingness to sign Ayoze Pérez, knowing his situation and the possibility of acquiring his services by paying a 4 million euro release clause. Villarreal is aware that Betis has the right to match or counter the offer. Villarreal has also made a better economic proposal to motivate the player.

Villarreal is interested in signing forward Ayoze Pérez, 31, who has a release clause of only 4 million euros with Real Betis. Betis has the option to increase his salary and raise the release clause to 10 or 12 million euros. Negotiations between Betis and Ayoze's agent to improve his contract and increase the clause have not been successful so far. Villarreal has expressed its intention to meet the 4 million euros release clause and offer Ayoze a four-year contract.
