The recently promoted Deportivo La Coruña are monitoring 20-year-old Senegalese winger Assane Diao of Como. The Italian club might consider selling the player for a valuation between €25 million and €30 million. Deportivo faces competition for Diao, as Roma have made initial contacts, and Sporting Lisbon are also observing the situation. Diao joined Como in January 2025, is under contract until June 2029, and has been capped six times by Senegal. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €30.00m. Reports from June 2026 stated that a €45 million offer from Everton was rejected, at which time Como's asking price was at least €75 million.
