Arseniy Batagov Transfer from Trabzonspor to Lazio
Lazio have ended negotiations for Arseniy Batagov, as they found the 30 million euros demanded by Trabzonspor to be too high. The 23-year-old defender's Ukraine U19 coach, Dmitry Mikhailenko, stated that Serie A is more suitable for Batagov. Mikhailenko said that 30 million euros is a reasonable price for a Premier League club, but he thinks it is too much for a Serie A club like Lazio.
Lazio have renewed their interest in Arseniy Batagov, according to HT Sport. Batagov was previously linked to Lazio in the summer, before a transfer market block affected the club's season.
According to Fanatik, Lazio is interested in signing Arseniy Batagov from Trabzonspor and is expected to contact the club to sign the player. Trabzonspor is reportedly not willing to let the player leave but could consider negotiations if an exceptionally high offer is made.
Lazio is very insistent on acquiring Arseniy Batagov from Trabzonspor. Despite Lazio's strong interest, the Italian media suggests that the transfer is unlikely to happen due to the transfer fee. Trabzonspor has received offers exceeding 10 million EUR, but the club is firm on not selling the player for less than 15 million EUR.
According to the Turkish newspaper Takagazete, Lazio is interested in signing Arseniy Batagov, a 23-year-old Ukrainian defender currently playing for Trabzonspor. Lazio has already made an offer of 10 million euros. However, Trabzonspor is not inclined to sell as their asking price is around 20 million euros. Trabzonspor values Batagov's development and hopes to increase his market value for a future sale. Batagov has made 23 appearances this season for Trabzonspor, scoring two goals. Meanwhile, Galatasaray has also entered the race to sign the young defender.
