According to a report from Fussball Daten, Nottingham Forest will seek a summer sale for a fee of around €35 million if Eintracht Frankfurt does not exercise its option to sign the 24-year-old permanently. The report from Fussball Daten also claims that both Premier League clubs could make a move for the French attacker, as they are looking to add a forward described as electrifying. The player is said to be eager to prove himself in English football after a disappointing time with Nottingham Forest, and the opportunity to join a club like Aston Villa would be an exciting one for him. Kalimuendo has 33 caps and 11 goals for France's U21 side, is contracted to Forest until June 2030, and has provided one goal and three assists in four Bundesliga appearances this season. The loan to Eintracht Frankfurt includes a purchase option that is most consistently reported at €27 million. Nottingham Forest signed the forward from Rennes in August 2025 for a €30 million fee. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt at €25 million.
