Interest has been shown in CD Guadalajara’s 22-year-old Mexican forward Armando González by Celtic, West Ham United, and Barcelona, but none of these offers were concrete. Journalist Erick López reported that Feyenoord is the only club to have formally approached the Mexican club for the forward. It is unclear if the Eredivisie side will advance their interest during the summer. González turned down a $20m bid from CSKA Moscow in the winter. Two months ago, he renewed his contract with CD Guadalajara until 2029, which recently strengthened his negotiating position. González has made 3 appearances for the Mexican national team and has scored 17 goals in 24 domestic league appearances this season. His current Transfermarkt market value is €7.00m.
