Bim Pepple, a 23-year-old Canadian-English striker for Plymouth Argyle, is reportedly attracting interest from Championship clubs Preston North End and Wrexham with around a week remaining in the summer transfer window. Luke Hodge, who is FLW's Plymouth Fan Pundit, believes the price for Pepple may now be higher than it was earlier in the summer. Hodge suggested that Pepple had a release clause which has apparently now expired, a development he believes is significant. He stated that if clubs were genuinely interested, they likely would have triggered the release clause instead of waiting and having to pay more money. While acknowledging a good offer could see him leave, Hodge feels that Pepple will stay at Plymouth Argyle, adding his belief that the striker is not yet fully developed and would benefit from another season in League One. Pepple joined the club in July 2025. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €375k. In July 2026, reports suggested a fee of more than £750,000 would be expected for a transfer.
