Antwerp, Albanian right winger Arbnor Muja's former club, attempted to bring him to Belgium last summer when he was also linked with RSC Anderlecht, but he had already committed to a loan move to STVV from Turkish side Samsunspor. Muja confirmed that Antwerp wanted to re-sign him but that he did not regret his choice. It is suggested that Antwerp could make another attempt to sign him in the upcoming summer. STVV has a purchase option on the player, but it is described as being substantial, in addition to his significant salary. Muja has expressed a desire to stay at STVV but said he is uncertain about what will happen. His contract with Samsunspor runs until mid-2027, and it is believed the Turkish club would be willing to sell him. The 27-year-old has 5 caps for Albania and has recorded 4 goals and 1 assist in 17 Jupiler Pro League appearances this season. His current Transfermarkt market value is €2.20m; he moved from Royal Antwerp to Samsunspor for a reported €2 million in February 2024, having joined the Belgian club for €400,000 in August 2022.
