Sassuolo has renewed interest in Antonio Candela, having targeted him since early January. They were waiting for the departure of Jeremy Toljan, who was considered for a potential swap with Venezia.

Sassuolo has entered the race strongly for the right-back born in 2002, but must first sell Yeferson Paz. The competition includes Palermo and Sampdoria, with the latter remaining on the lookout.

Antonio Candela may leave Venezia in the next transfer window. According to TMW, Cremonese and Sassuolo are interested in the 2000-born full-back, with Sassuolo currently closer to reaching an agreement. With Candela's potential departure, Venezia will need to reinforce their squad by adding a new full-back, and they have shown interest in Riccardo Marchizza from Frosinone.
