Italian club Sassuolo is interested in Polissya Zhytomyr's Ukrainian central defender, Eduard Sarapiy. The Serie A side has made an offer to the Zhytomyr team for the 27-year-old footballer, proposing a paid loan with a mandatory purchase option. The deal is valued at over 7 million euros, and if completed, it will set a new transfer record for Polissya. Sarapiy has been capped three times for Ukraine, joined Polissya in July 2024 and has a contract until 2030. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €2.50m.
