He added that it is not the time for them to acquire a 34-year-old player who is a reference, noting that while it would be good for such a player to be there, the news is totally false.

Domenec Torrent, coach of Monterrey, has stated there is no possibility of signing Antoine Griezmann, adding that the rumors are unfounded. Torrent said that it is not true and questioned how so much is fabricated. He explained that Monterrey cannot sign a foreign player because the quota is full.
