According to Saturday’s print edition of L’Equipe, Coventry City have attempted to sign Angel Gomes from Marseille following his loan spell at Wolverhampton Wanderers. Frank Lampard’s side have inquired about the former Manchester United player. The French club are looking to sell him and will not prevent a transfer if Coventry City were to make a serious attempt to sign him. There is no indication if the newly promoted Premier League side plan to proceed after making initial contact.

TEAMtalk reports that Coventry City are interested in Angel Gomes. The same source also reports that Hull City and several more established Premier League teams are monitoring his availability. The report claims Marseille are willing to sell the 25-year-old and that Gomes also wants to return to the Premier League. Gomes spent the second half of last season on loan at Wolves. It is claimed that Marseille want between €15-20million for Angel Gomes.

Coventry and Hull are both interested in the 25-year-old English Marseille midfielder, Angel Gomes, following his recent loan spell at Wolves.
