Newcastle United made a loan offer for Real Madrid's 26-year-old Ukrainian goalkeeper Andriy Lunin. The offer was for €3 million. Real Madrid immediately turned down the offer, stating that it was not in the club's best interest as they are happy with Lunin and not actively looking to sell him. Lunin is contracted with Real Madrid until 2030 and is content at the club. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €18 million. Several other clubs, including Manchester City, Villarreal, and Manchester United, have also been linked with him.
