The club had previously considered the 24-year-old Ghanaian forward during the summer but concluded at the time that he was not yet prepared for the team's requirements. However, AEK officials have since revised their opinion, influenced not only by Tetteh's fantastic performance in the recent match against them but also by his display against Panathinaikos. In that game, Tetteh impressed coach Marko Nikolic by contributing a goal and an assist. Due to his excellent form, which has also attracted interest from other clubs, potentially from overseas, AEK believes it must act swiftly.
