Andrei Cordea, a 27-year-old Romanian winger, has an opportunity to move from SuperLiga României to the top league in China during the winter transfer window, having received an advantageous offer from a club in Asia. CFR Cluj received an official offer of 550,000 euros for the transfer, with Cordea being proposed an annual salary of 1 million euros. The offer reached the club's management on Thursday, October 29. The team that made the offer is Yunnan Yukun, which is currently 6th in the Chinese top league. While Andrei Cordea has a release clause of 1 million euros, CFR Cluj would agree to sell the player for an amount between 700,000 and 800,000 euros. Ciprian Deac, the vice-president at CFR Cluj, confirmed that many offers have been received for Cordea and that a decision will be made in the winter. Deac described the player as essential and desired by multiple teams, adding that the club needs both money and results. Cordea, who joined CFR Cluj in July 2025, has five caps for the Romanian national team and is valued by Transfermarkt at €3.0M.
