The talks between Haidara's representatives and Real Sociedad's management are ongoing, with the player reportedly very close to joining the club. A first offer of 25 million euros for his transfer has been discussed, which is considered significant under the circumstances, indicating that the negotiations are genuine. Haidara, a 27-year-old dynamic midfielder from RB Leipzig, represents Mali internationally and has a market value of 16 million euros, as per Transfermarkt. He has just one year left on his contract with the Bundesliga team. It is expected that Haidara will depart from Leipzig this summer, as he was omitted from the squad for their recent league opener against Bayern, which resulted in a 6-0 loss. Real Sociedad's keen interest may have disrupted a possible deal with Paris FC, in which Red Bull is also a participant. Haidara has also drawn interest from clubs in Ligue 1 and Serie A, such as Nice, Juventus, and Roma.
