Getafe has shown interest in Álvaro Fidalgo. Fidalgo has a decision to make today regarding whether to accept one of the offers or to stay at Betis. At Betis, he has not played any minutes in the first three matches, although he has been included in all of the squads.

Rumors have emerged regarding the potential departure of 29-year-old Mexican international Álvaro Fidalgo from Real Betis, due to his lack of playing time under manager Manuel Pellegrini at the start of the season. Reports have identified Getafe as a club interested in the midfielder. Despite this speculation, Fidalgo, who has a contract with the team until June 2030, responded to questions about his permanence by stating that he hopes to stay. Fidalgo joined Real Betis in February 2026 and has 7 caps and 1 goal for Mexico. His current market value is estimated to be €6.00m, according to Transfermarkt.
