PSV has approached Hellas Verona for nineteen-year-old attacking midfielder Alphadjo Cissè, who is currently on loan at Catanzaro. There is significant interest in a direct transfer to Eindhoven for the player, who is considered a great talent in Italy. Italian transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio wrote that Cissè is close to joining PSV, while Rik Elfrink of Eindhovens Dagblad reported that the club has so far only made contact. PSV's coach had previously indicated he would continue with the existing squad but more recently stated the club was open to a transfer if they could acquire quality. Cissè is under contract with Hellas Verona until mid-2029 and has a market value of six million euros, according to Transfermarkt.
