Almugera Kabar Transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Brentford
According to reports from 'Ruhr Nachrichten', Almugera Kabar has decided to leave Borussia Dortmund in the winter due to a lack of prospects. The 19-year-old full-back informed sporting director Sebastian Kehl of his decision two weeks ago. His desired destination is the Premier League, where, according to the paper, FC Brentford and three other clubs have expressed interest. From the player's side, a permanent transfer or a loan with an option to buy is preferred, as Kabar lacks hope for playing time at BVB with a pure loan deal. His current employer holds the trump cards, as he signed a professional contract in February that runs until 2028.
According to Bild, Premier League club Brentford are interested in signing Almugera Kabar from Borussia Dortmund in the winter and have already made contact with the player's side. The German publication reports that Brentford is willing to offer 20 million euros for the 19-year-old left-back. Kabar is currently under contract with Dortmund until 2028 but is not a regular starter, being behind Daniel Svensson and Ramy Bensebaini. While Borussia Dortmund reportedly do not wish to sell the player permanently as he is considered part of their future plans, such a substantial offer could prove difficult for the club to reject.
