Rayo Vallecano is focusing on acquiring Brazilian and Polish forward Alexandre Zurawski, also known as 'Alemão', to bolster their attacking lineup as the summer transfer window draws to a close. The club, with sporting director David Cobeño at the helm, is racing against time to secure a new forward to enhance the team's offensive capabilities, in light of Sergi Guardiola and Raúl de Tomás leaving earlier this summer. At 27, Alemão is currently contracted with Mexican club Pachuca until June 2027. He has prior experience in Spain with Real Oviedo, where he played a significant role in their promotion to La Liga, scoring 22 goals and providing five assists across 83 matches over two seasons. Rayo Vallecano aims to quickly conclude the transfer, while also keeping an eye on other possible last-minute signings. According to Transfermarkt, the player's market value is approximately €3.5 million.
