Boca Juniors has identified Alan Lescano, a 24-year-old Argentinian attacking midfielder, as a primary target to fill an extraordinary spot that will be freed up by the departure of Lucas Blondel, with a deadline of March 10 to complete any deal. Media reports indicated that Boca had inquired about the conditions for signing Lescano, who is reportedly a long-time favorite of Juan Román Riquelme. In response, Argentinos' president Cristian Malaspina spoke to DSports Radio. Malaspina stated that there was nothing to the reported interest from Boca. He explained that a contractual situation with Gimnasia makes it inconvenient for Argentinos to sell Lescano.
