According to an update from TYC, 34-year-old Argentinian-Italian defender Agustín García Basso has departed from Racing as a free agent. The player, who had been linked with a move to San Lorenzo that did not happen and has also been linked with Newell's Old Boys, terminated his contract by mutual agreement. This termination was the result of a progressive deterioration in the relationship between García Basso and the club's management. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €300k, and Racing Club reportedly paid €692,000 to sign him from Independiente del Valle in January 2024.
