Nigerian midfielder Adetunji Rasaq Adeshina has moved to Slaven Belupo on a one-year loan from Austrian champions LASK. The deal includes an option for Slaven Belupo to purchase the 21-year-old at the end of the season if both sides are satisfied. Adeshina sought a new club after making two official appearances for LASK, with whom he won a double crown. Before joining the Austrian side in July 2025 for almost €500,000, he had attracted interest from top Serbian clubs and others in central and eastern Europe due to his performances for Novi Pazar. The player has now signed his contract and has been officially presented by his new club. During the 2025/2026 season, Adeshina made one appearance in the Bundesliga. His contract with LASK is valid until June 2028, and his current market value is €350k, according to Transfermarkt.
