Udinese are reportedly contemplating a move for Celtic striker Adam Idah this summer. According to reports from Italy, the Serie A club is prepared to challenge the Scottish champions' determination to retain Idah for the upcoming season. Tutto Udinese has indicated that a deal is being considered as Idah matches the profile of the attackers the club is seeking after Lorenzo Lucca's loan transfer to Napoli. Technical director Gokhan Inler has stated that the club is conducting an extensive search to find a replacement for the 20-goal striker. The Irish international joined Celtic Park last summer for £9million after the club decided to make his loan from Norwich City permanent. Despite netting 20 goals last season and contributing to Celtic's Premiership title and Premier Sports Cup victory, Idah found it difficult to become Brendan Rodgers' preferred striker, with Kyogo Furuhashi and then Daizen Maeda being favored for the central position. As the new league season and Champions League qualifiers near, it is still uncertain whether Celtic will decide to sell the 24-year-old striker.
