Al Ahly has received what are described as financially superior offers for 31-year-old Moroccan winger Achraf Bencharki from other Gulf clubs, including Al Ettifaq and Al Taawoun. Additionally, Qatari club Al Gharafa has made Bencharki a top priority and initiated preliminary discussions with the player's brother and agent before submitting an offer of around $1.2 million. Al Ahly did not accept this proposal and maintains a valuation of at least $1.8 million for the player, who is under contract until June 2027. Bencharki joined Al Ahly in January 2025 and has been capped by Morocco B. In the current Egyptian Premier League season, he has scored two goals and provided five assists in 20 appearances. His current market value is €2.20m, according to Transfermarkt.
