Al Ahli has announced on its X page the signing of Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh. Kinteh previously passed his medical examination with the Saudi club and has signed a five-season contract. In an interview with Footy-Africa, the player's agent, Cherno Samba, expressed satisfaction with the successful transfer. Samba explained that Kinteh had options in Europe but chose Al Ahli for financial security reasons. Kinteh's estimated value on the transfer market is 7 million euros.

According to Rudy Galetti, Al Ahli are close to signing Abubacarr Sedi Kinteh. The Saudi side is confident of finalising the agreement in the next few hours, as all details have been agreed with Tromsø, who have given their approval. Al Ahli are nearing the transfer despite late attempts from other clubs.
