Senegalese forward Abdallah Sima, aged 24, who is contracted to Brighton and was recently on loan at Brest, is under evaluation by Roma. The Italian club, having expended approximately 65 million euros on several players such as Ferguson, El Aynaoui, Wesley, Ghilardi, and soon Ziolkowski, is now emphasizing financial caution. They are opting for loan deals with options to buy for transactions exceeding 20 million euros. Alongside Sima, players like Reiss Nelson from Arsenal and Tyrique George from Chelsea are also being considered as Roma seeks to bolster its squad. This effort is being guided by the sporting director, Ricky Massara, during their training camp in Burton upon Trent. Sima has a contract with Brighton that extends until June 2026, and his market value is currently assessed by Transfermarkt to be €9 million.
