Atlante is reinforcing its team for the Apertura 2026. According to the report, Vélez Sarsfield acquired the player's rights in 2024 for a figure of approximately two million euros.

TYC reported that Aaron Quirós could move to Atlante through a one-year loan that includes a fee and a purchase option. Vélez had acquired the player in mid-2024 for three million US dollars at Gustavo Quinteros's request. The player's appearance in only nine matches this year has contributed to his desire to move.

Atlante is in advanced negotiations to sign 24-year-old Argentine defender Aarón Quirós from Vélez. The discussions concern a one-year loan deal that includes a purchase option.
