Bournemouth is aware they could face difficulty in keeping 22-year-old English midfielder Alex Scott, as Aston Villa, Man Utd, Man City, and Newcastle United are all monitoring his progress. It is understood that Tottenham Hotspur were also watching the midfielder but have now pursued other targets. In response to the growing interest, sources confirm Bournemouth is prepared to offer Scott a contract extension. The player's current deal has just over two years remaining. In the current Premier League season, Scott has made 21 appearances, scoring one goal. He transferred to Bournemouth from Bristol City in August 2023 for a fee of €23 million. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value at €30 million, while reports in November 2025 suggested Bournemouth would demand £60-65 million for a sale.
