Pierre Van Hooijdonk has predicted Kasper Dolberg will join Eredivisie rivals Feyenoord, suggesting he would be the perfect replacement for Ayase Ueda. The Rotterdam club are likely to sell Ueda this summer.
Dolberg has been deemed no longer needed at Ajax less than a year after joining, with technical director Jordi Cruijff telling the Denmark international to find another club. The striker could be available for a reduced fee as Ajax seek to reduce their financial losses, and Van Hooijdonk commented that he does not think they will recover the ten million euros they paid for him, despite his contract running until 2029.
