Manchester United scout Aleksandar Stankovic but Inter Milan hold key clause

The promising young Serbian-Italian midfielder has been scouted by numerous English clubs ahead of a potential transfer.

According to Fabrizio Romano, numerous English clubs, including Tottenham and Manchester United, have scouted 20-year-old Serbian-Italian defensive midfielder Aleksandar Stankovic. The transfer specialist describes Stankovic as being one of the most promising young players in Europe. Romano asserts that Inter Milan controls the player's future due to a buy-back clause that was included in the deal when Stankovic moved to Club Brugge six months ago for nearly ten million euros following lengthy negotiations. An Inter scout was also reportedly present to watch him play recently.

However, Inter would still need to reach a personal agreement with Stankovic, who is under contract at his current club until mid-2029. Stankovic has earned 4 caps and scored 1 goal for Serbia. In the current Jupiler Pro League season, he has made 21 appearances, scoring 4 goals and providing 1 assist. His current Transfermarkt valuation is €15.00m.
