Tomasz Włodarczyk reported that Greek club Panathinaikos continues efforts to acquire Jakub Piotrowski. Włodarczyk also stated that the chances of Jakub Piotrowski leaving are slim because Udinese rejects every offer for him. A journalist from the portal Meczyki.pl added on the program 'Pogadajmy o piłce' that Udinese has rejected all offers made by Panathinaikos and the chances of this transfer operation have significantly decreased.

Panathinaikos is interested in Jakub Piotrowski, a 28-year-old Polish central midfielder who could leave Udinese this summer. It has been suggested that this potential transfer could be one of the surprises of the transfer window. Piotrowski, who joined Udinese in August 2025, has 14 caps and 2 goals for Poland. Panathinaikos would have to pay a fee to acquire him, as his contract with Udinese is valid until June 30, 2029. According to Transfermarkt.com, the player is valued at 4.5 million euros.
