According to transfer journalist Nicolò Schira, Ajax may be interested in Douglas Luiz, who is on loan at Nottingham Forest from Juventus with a deal that includes a mandatory purchase option. A potential move is being considered because the new manager at Forest, Sean Dyche, is less keen on the player, according to Fabrizio Romano, which has prompted both Luiz and Juventus to look for a new club.
Schira reports that Chelsea, Vasco Da Gama, and Aston Villa are also showing interest, along with the Amsterdam club. While Romano does not mention Ajax, he claims Chelsea is the most interested party and has proposed a loan with a non-mandatory option to buy to add depth to their squad. Romano also notes that there is little progress regarding Aston Villa's interest.
