In January 2026, reports cited a market value of €1.00m from Transfermarkt. His most recent permanent transfer was in July 2025, when Widzew Łódź signed him from Botev Plovdiv for a fee reported between €750,000 and €800,000. Prior to that move, in May 2025, reports suggested he was valued at €1 million. Earlier, in February 2025, Standard Liege reportedly offered an initial €600,000, which was later increased to a potential €800,000 with bonuses.

Our valuation is driven by the significant decline in Samuel Akere's perceived value since his transfer to Widzew Łódź for approximately €800,000 in July 2025. His subsequent underwhelming performance and the recent confirmation in May 2026 that his loan club, Osijek, will not exercise their purchase option, strongly suggest his current market value is considerably lower than his last transfer fee.
