Lech Poznań regrets that they did not manage to sign Slovenian striker Žan Vipotnik, who was one of several candidates the club considered. After scoring 23 goals in a season, his valuation on the Transfermarkt portal rose to 22 million euros, and Sporting considered making a similar offer in August. A potential transfer is now considered unaffordable for Lech Poznań, and several Premier League clubs have also been recently linked with him.
