Coventry City are reportedly competing with Brighton to sign Malian midfielder Yves Bissouma, who is a free agent after his contract with Tottenham expired. Frank Lampard, manager of the newly promoted Coventry side, is reportedly seeking players with top-flight experience. Brighton are also interested in re-signing their former player, with manager Fabian Hürzeler considering midfield reinforcements because of reports linking Carlos Baleba with Manchester United and Tottenham. Other clubs are also reportedly interested in Bissouma, including Valencia, and teams in Turkey have previously shown interest. Bissouma has been capped 46 times for Mali, scoring 5 goals.
