Yusuf Wardak, a 20-year-old forward, is leaving the fifth-division club SV Eintracht Hohkeppel and will be immediately transferred on loan to VfB Lübeck instead of returning to his parent club, Waldhof Mannheim. Lübeck's sporting director, Sebastian Harms, described the new player as a technically skilled offensive player who can be deployed in multiple attacking positions. Harms also expects that Wardak's ability to play as an attacking midfielder will provide more variability for the team's offense. The sporting director added that Wardak is capable of delivering the final pass and is also a goal threat.
