Celtic are showing interest in signing Yukinara Sugawara, a 26-year-old full-back from Southampton who has an asking price of €7m. It is reported that Southampton are willing to sell the Japan international because they have a sufficient number of players in the right-back position. Werder Bremen, where Sugawara was on loan last season, are also interested in re-signing him, but a return is considered unlikely because the fee is thought to be more than the club can afford. Along with Celtic, PSV Eindhoven, who won their league last season, are also showing interest with less than two weeks remaining before the transfer window closes.
