It is said that Galatasaray is preparing an offer for the player, and it is understood that official negotiations with the Italian club are expected to commence soon. Fofana, who joined the club in August 2024, has a contract until June 2028 and has made 17 appearances in Serie A this season, scoring one goal and providing two assists. The midfielder has 25 caps for France and a current Transfermarkt market value of €28.00m. Fenerbahçe reportedly made an offer of €20 million in January 2026; this matches the fee Milan paid to sign him from AS Monaco.
