Yoram van der Veen is transferring from SC Cambuur to RKC Waalwijk. The twenty-year-old Dutch left winger has signed a contract for three and a half years, until mid-2028. Van der Veen will join RKC after the turn of the year. At SC Cambuur, which he joined on January 1, 2024, he was mainly used as a substitute this season, making 7 appearances and scoring 1 goal in the Keuken Kampioen Divisie. Oscar Sjöstrand was the preferred player in his position. RKC's technical director, Bernard Schuiteman, confirmed that the player's prospects for playing time at his former club were limited. On the club's website, van der Veen stated that he feels this is the correct step for his development and that discussions with the club provided him with a lot of confidence.
