Marítimo has officially announced the signing of 22-year-old Spanish midfielder Yellu Santiago, who joins on loan from Hellas Verona until June 2027. Santiago has two caps for Spain's U18 team. He came through the Valencia youth system and also represented Getafe before signing for the Italian club last season. He made four appearances for Verona before being loaned to Arouca in January, where he played in five Liga matches. His contract with Hellas Verona expires on June 30, 2028.
