Villarreal and Udinese have expressed interest in Yanis Massolin, a 23-year-old attacking midfielder who plays for Modena. Transfer journalist Gianluca Di Marzio reports that PSV has also shown interest in the French player. The Serie B club is not willing to cooperate with a transfer this winter, as they intend to keep him until at least the upcoming summer. Massolin's transfer value is estimated to be between seven and eight million euros. His current contract with Modena runs until the summer of 2028. In the current Serie B season, he has made 13 appearances, registering one goal and two assists. Massolin joined Modena in July 2025 for a reported fee of €700,000. It was also reported in January 2026 that Udinese submitted an initial offer of approximately €5 million.
