Yan Diomande Transfer from RB Leipzig to Liverpool

According to Sky Sports, Liverpool is leading the effort to sign Yan Diomande and is reportedly in advanced discussions with the player's representatives. None of the clubs interested in the young striker have yet begun official talks with RB Leipzig. The source states that contrary to rumors, the German club has not yet set a price.

Liverpool, Manchester City, FC Barcelona, PSG, and Real Madrid are closely monitoring Yan Diomande. According to Sport Bild, Leipzig has set his price at 100 million euros. Zoro Marc stated that Liverpool is perfect for Diomande's style, as he would join a team that always attacks and provides space to dribble, but he noted that the competition will be enormous. Both Zoro Marc and Arthur Boka agree that Liverpool is one of the most suitable clubs for him.

Reports from Germany suggested that Liverpool have been monitoring Diomande, with a view to a potential transfer in 2026. Journalist Graeme Bailey reported that the interest from Liverpool is genuine and that Diomande has a €100m release clause in his deal. Leipzig might demand his €100m release clause in full if the Reds make an approach in 2026.

Bild claim Diomande is of interest to Liverpool. Liverpool are among the clubs that send scouts to regularly attend Leipzig matches to watch the winger and request videos to assess the player. The outlet adds that it is becoming increasingly likely that at least one top club will attempt to sign Diomande next summer. Leipzig director of sport Marcel Schafer recently admitted that such a deal would validate their work, though he hopes to keep the Ivory Coast international for at least another year or two. It will take a high transfer fee to sign Diomande away from Leipzig, as the club is in a strong negotiating position because the forward is contracted until June 2030. If Diomande’s performances continue, then he could fetch a similar price to Benjamin Sesko (£74 million) or Josko Gvardiol (£77m).

According to a report from TBR Football, Liverpool are monitoring Yan Diomande's development and have watched him on multiple occasions. Graeme Bailey told TBR Football that Diomande is a player who is widely discussed and observed. Leipzig say there is no release clause, and the player is being discussed in the context of an £88 million valuation. Based on what Graeme Bailey is hearing from scouts and clubs, no other player currently in Europe is generating more excitement among clubs.

RB Leipzig will not entertain offers for the teenager Yan Diomande and have placed a €100million price tag on the Ivorian winger. The 18-year-old has been linked with top European clubs since his summer transfer from Leganes, but the German club are reluctant to let him leave despite reported interest from Bayern Munich and Liverpool.
