Sunderland is reportedly interested in Lech Poznan's 19-year-old Polish centre-back, Wojciech Mońka, for the January transfer window. Brighton and Hove Albion and Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt are also rumoured suitors, in addition to Southampton. Mońka joined Lech Poznań in April 2024, and his contract is valid until June 2030. He has not yet been capped by Poland at the senior level. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €10.00m.
