Torino approved a loan for Wisdom Acquah without a purchase option, with the aim of providing playing time for the player, who is from Ghana and also holds an Italian passport. Modène accelerated discussions to secure the deal ahead of Catanzaro. The club identified the 19-year-old as a suitable player to cover for the prolonged absence of Alessandro Sersanti, who sustained a serious injury during a friendly match.
