Al Ahli SC has announced the arrival of Nigerian international centre-back William Troost-Ekong. The 32-year-old has signed a contract with the Qatari club until June 2027. Troost-Ekong, who also holds Dutch nationality, arrives from Al-Kholood, a Saudi team with which he started the season and made 13 appearances in the Saudi Pro League. He has 83 caps and 8 goals for Nigeria. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €1.20m.
