Wilhelm Vorsager has signed a contract with Austria Wien, known as the Violets, until the summer of 2028. The 28-year-old joins on a free transfer from SV Stripfing, which ceased its operations in the ADMIRAL 2nd League during the fall because of financial difficulties. The former U21 international, who can play as a center-back or a defensive midfielder, was already in discussions with the club in the summer. Vorsager is initially planned for the Young Violets, where he is intended to act as an 'anchor player' to guide younger talents. His experience includes 88 Bundesliga games with Admira, and he also played for the Norwegian club IK Start in 2024.
