During a recent appearance on the Sabor a Futbol podcast, 26-year-old Uruguayan winger Brian Rodríguez addressed the possibility of a future transfer to Tigres, stating that one never knows what could happen in a future where his current club might not want him. However, the América player clarified that he would only consider such a move if he was no longer wanted by the team. Rodríguez, who acknowledged that questions about him leaving are frequent, emphasized that being part of his current club is a privilege, describing América as one of the greatest in the world. The discussion also covered past rumors that had linked him to a move to Europe, with Ajax being mentioned as a suitor. Rodríguez, who has 38 caps and 4 goals for Uruguay, joined CF América in August 2022 and his contract runs until June 2030. Transfermarkt estimates his current market value to be €12.00m.
