Wilfried Kanga is set to leave AA Gent for Al-Fateh in Saudi Arabia after one season. For the transfer, Gent will receive a fixed fee of €4.1 million, which could potentially increase to €5 million. The 28-year-old French-Ivorian centre-forward joined the Belgian club from Dinamo Zagreb for approximately €1.2 million. He finished last season as the team's top scorer with 12 goals, despite having a difficult relationship with the fans. Kanga is an Ivory Coast international with two caps and had a contract with the Belgian club until 2028. According to Transfermarkt, his current market value is €3.00m. His new club, Al-Fateh, finished 11th in the Saudi Pro League last season.
