Al Ittihad failed to sign Raphael Onyedika from Club Brugge because their offer was considered insufficient. In their search for a replacement for Fabinho, the club has shifted its focus to Wilfred Ndidi. The Jeddah-based club has made an official offer of €12.5 million to the Turkish club of the 29-year-old defensive midfielder. Ndidi is a Nigerian international with 79 caps and one goal for his country. He joined Besiktas in July 2025 and his contract runs until 2028. He is reportedly one of several targets being considered by the Saudi club, alongside Sofyan Amrabat and Marwan Attia. Manchester United and Hull City have also been linked with the player. His current market value is estimated by Transfermarkt to be €8.00m.
